CD Rack
The first thing I do when I get home is to play my favorite CDs. Some I like to play in the morning, some while I am in the bathroom, some when I get ready to go to bed. But whenever I reach out for these CDs which are scattered all over the floor, the stack of CDs will collapse and I have to reorganize it. Now it is time to make myself a new CD rack where I can keep my favorite CDs. |

|
1. Pine wood 6 inches in width
2. Ready-to-made CD rack
3. PVC plastic sheet
4. Saw, hammer, sandpaper, bolts
|
Instruction
|
|
1. Cut 2 pieces of wood in the same size of
CD rack, cut another two for the top and the
bottom. Polish them with sandpaper. Paint the
side of the wood on which you will adhere the
rack.
|
|
2. Adhere the rack to the longer piece.
|
|
3. Assemble the structure of the rack. You can
measure the width from the CD case (as shown
in the picture). Polish with sandpaper. Mix
latex glue with wood shavings and stuff them
in the traces of nails. Polish them again with
sandpaper. Paint the outside of the rack if
needed.
|
|
4. Adhere the plastic sheet at the
back of the rack. |

Inside Out

Imagine how wonderful it would be able to bring your favorite indoor room into the open space. Although the reading room is my favorite, I tend to grab my book and read it on the porch. The living room is there for me to take a nap. So why decorate our garden with home-décor style. You can add some little thing like homely stuff to your garden i.e. hanging a window frame to create space. To create a cozy atmosphere, a favorite couch can be place under the gazebo in the garden.
The idea about kitchen in the garden is worth trying. Thai kitchen always requires an open-aired space to clear the smoke from cooking. Check out this latest book “Inside Out: decorating outdoor spaces with indoor style” at Asia Books. |
