Notice: Thai Life Insurance PLC’s Foreign Investment Policy
Thai Life Insurance PLC hereby declares the Company policy for Foreign Investment to be aligned with the OIC Foreign Equities Securities Investment issued by legal entities held under foreign laws as follows:
- The company shall invest no more than 10% of the equity securities issued by such legal entity.
- The foreign equity securities must be listed on the foreign stock exchange held under International Organizations of Securities Commission (IOSCO) or World Federations of Exchange (WFE) or being authorized by each country of the exchange during the initial public offering. The information must be accessible via Internet available in English
- In case of other equity securities apart from (2) the Company shall invest in the equity security issued by legal entities authorized by registrar, as follows:
- a legal entity according to foreign law, provided that such an entity is an authorized insurer in that country or has its main business as the holding securities of an authorized insurance company.
- a legal entity according to foreign law, provided that such an entity has its business that support Insurance.
- a legal entity incorporated for reinsurance business according to Association of South East Asian Nations: ASEAN) or Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific: ESCAP)
Investment in foreign country shall strictly adhere to the policy above and shall be approved by the OIC. In case of impersonation for the proposed investment from Thai Life Insurance PLC, we hereby confirm that the statement is false and the Company will not be responsible for any loss or consequences whatsoever caused.
